Big Bend Services, Inc. repairs and installs garage doors, installs and repairs gutters on homes and commercial buildings, supplies and installs wire shelving, and runs blower door tests on newly built homes. The office is at 511 South Highway 71 in Wewahitchka.

Garage door repair, openers and new doors
A repair covers the parts that have failed: springs, cables, rollers, hinges, tracks, panels, safety sensors and weather seals. A broken spring is replaced, not repaired. An opener that hums, clicks or does nothing is repaired, or a new one is installed.
New doors
A new door is measured to the opening, with a new opener if you want one.

Testing a newly built home for air leakage
Florida's energy code requires a newly built home to be tested for air leakage. The test can be booked once every opening through the building shell, including the last pipe, wire, vent and duct, has been made. A fan is fitted into an exterior doorway and holds the house at the test pressure while the leakage is measured. Paint, flooring, trim, cabinets and countertops do not change the reading.

A builder can book more than one house. Each is tested on its own and gets its own result.
A slipped date
If the house is not ready, call and a new test date is set.

Shelving supplied and installed for any room
Wire shelving is supplied and installed in closets, pantries, laundry rooms, garages, utility rooms and storage rooms, for homeowners, builders and commercial customers. Fixed shelving stays at a set height. Shelf-and-rail systems let the shelves move later as what you store changes. One room or the whole house can go on one quote.

Gutter work for homes and businesses
Gutters are installed, repaired, replaced, cleaned and guarded on houses and on commercial buildings such as offices, shops, restaurants and warehouses. Each run is formed on site to the length of its roof edge. The standard size is 6-inch, and half-round gutters are available in aluminum or copper, with colors chosen to match the trim.
Cleaning and guards
Cleaning is done by hand, with downspouts flushed and the debris taken away. Guards are fitted once the gutters are clean and any weak section is repaired.
Replacement
Old gutters are taken down and hauled away as part of a replacement.

A storm-damaged gutter repair comes with a written quote you can send to an insurer. Landlords and property managers can have several rental addresses looked at on one gutter visit. Storage and back rooms in commercial buildings get wire shelving.
New construction
Gutters and shelving for a house being built
On a house under construction, gutters are scheduled around the builder once the roof and fascia are finished. Closets, pantries and the laundry room can be shelved before move-in.

Outside our work
What gutter work does not include
Drainage work stays above ground and ends at the downspout. A downspout can be moved to a better spot, extended farther from the wall, or another one added on a long run. Underground drainage, French drains and yard grading are not part of the work, and go to a drainage contractor instead.
