Sections knocked loose or down
A gutter section that has pulled loose but is still straight can be reattached. One that is bent, split or missing is replaced.
The repair quote comes in writing, so you can pass it to your insurer with the claim.
Joints that now leak
A joint or corner pulled open by the storm is resealed at the source, or the corner rebuilt.
Sagging runs
A run pulled down at one end has its hangers reset, with more added, so it holds its slope again.
Downspouts torn off

New gutters
Replacing the gutters on the whole house
When most of the gutters are gone, the house gets new seamless runs, formed on site from a coil to the exact length of each roof edge, so a straight run has no joints along it. The standard size is 6-inch, and the damaged gutters are hauled away.
If water used to land at the steps or against a wall, say so, and the new downspouts can be placed elsewhere.
Half-round
Half-round gutters in aluminum or copper are offered if you want that look on the rebuilt house.
Garage doors
Dents, torn seals and when a new door is quoted
Whether a damaged door is repaired or replaced comes down to how much of it was hit. Tell us how many sections are dented, whether the door still moves by hand, and whether the track is bent.

That panel is repaired or replaced, and the rest of the door stays.

A newly built house is tested for air leakage against the Florida energy code limit of 7 air changes per hour at 50 pascals. An addition or alteration below 85 percent of the building envelope is an exception.
When to book
Once the last pipe, wire, vent and duct through the shell is in.

That leaves room to correct leaks and test again. If the date slips, call and a new one is set.
